I was going to write an entire post on how to make this gift but, decided not to. First, it is pretty self-explanatory and I don’t feel that anybody needs a thousand words on how to do this. Plus, it is the best Mother’s Day gift I have ever received. My husband and daughter did this for me for Mother’s Day my first year in recovery. It’s my favorite gift by far. To make a personalized puzzle picture, you need a few items.
- A picture – My kid used a picture of me and her. It could be a picture of the woman in recovery, a family picture, or any picture that means something to Mom and expresses her in recovery.
- Store – You will need somewhere to get the picture turned into a puzzle. I chose Wal-Mart, there is a Wal-Mart everywhere, including 2 minutes from my house so, I am there almost every day. I hate it and love it at the same time. You can do it online. Here is a link to get it done. This is the most affordable option I found to get a picture made into a puzzle, it ranges from $10 to $15.
